Stephen would text me updates several times a week and even though the repair felt like a long time, I did have confidence the work was happening due to the regular communications.

Modern car repairs and replacement parts have so many intricacies and steps that I think everyone should find a similar repair video online to what their vehicle is needing from an authorized repair shop and they would quickly get a sense of the nuances involved. Luckily, the folks at LaMettry’s that I worked with did a good job at that too.

The work was finally done after several weeks and aside from a little last minute snafu with an insurance payment mixup and a tow truck call that went awry, the actual work was excellent, Stephen stayed past close of business on a Friday to help me pick it up, and it’s just like new again! I asked the car dealer from whom we purchased those vehicles who they recommend for the bodywork I needed done and they said LaMettry's was the only place they recommended. The work that was completed involved restoring the gap between one of the quarter panels and the passenger side front door, buffing out some scratches, and replacing some wheel well trim. My main contact was manager Andrew Dupey and he was superb. The work was done well and completed on-time, and the cost was very reasonable. The service advisor, Ian, was kind and respectful. The technician, Jay, resolved the problem in just five minutes—and didn’t charge me anything. Everything went great except a small tear in my door panel that occurred when removing the old window. So I took it back to show Chino and he didn't sit and try to act like it wasn't there or that they weren't responsible or any of the run around a lot of places give you. My rep from LeMettry’s was Andy Dupey and from the moment I arrived to the day I picked up my truck he was proactive in his communication, thorough in his work and he even advocated for me with the insurance company.

When I brought my damaged Toyota Tacoma to him he spent quite a bit of time going through options and helping educate me on the process, options and work.

The process was seamless for me, but in the shop they navigated parts issues, sheet metal bends and painting with the expertise that comes from earned experience.

The day I picked up my beloved Tacoma it was fully repaired to the point it was impossible to find even a trace of damage. Andy was there to greet me and go through all the details of the repair. The truck was washed, shined and delivered with white glove care.

Here’s the bottom line for me. LeMettry’s is a family owned business and you can judge a business pretty easily by how good their employees are and how well they represent the company. Credit to LeMettry’s owners and leadership for hiring and retaining great staff and people like Andy.
