I’m a bit of a nerd who carries a notebook wherever I go to keep track of great service. My wife’s 2016 Chevy was involved in a hit and run, and we brought it to LaMettry’s Collision in Inver Grove Heights.

When I first arrived, no one was at the front desk, and I waited about 10 minutes. Then Andy, a very polite and professional gentleman, came out and said he would be right with me. At first, I was hesitant, but once I saw how helpful everyone was, I realized the wait was worth it.

Andy gave a clear and fair estimate, the front desk team was friendly, and Suzanne kept me updated from start to finish. They not only fixed my wife’s car perfectly but also detailed it inside and out and even arranged a Lyft for us to pick it up. This place truly deserves more than five stars for their honesty, quality, and outstanding customer service.

Andy, my Service Rep, is clear-eyed, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain both the damage he saw and the process LaMettry’s would do to complete the repairs. LaMettry’s kept me informed of the proceedings and completed repairs ahead of expectations.

I managed to hobble it to LaMettry's and they were so kind and helped me so quickly. I was shaken up and upset by the situation but they were so patient with me and we quickly came up with a plan. They even facilitated helping me in getting a rental. I was in and out of there so quickly. 2 weeks later, I have my car back in off the lot brand new condition. When I came in to pick it up, there had been a delay from the insurance company paying so I could not take it. Del gave me a ride home & arranged a return ride for me the next day. My previous car got totaled out, which ended up being a long and arduous process to determine based on insurance coverage. From the beginning, I entrusted Lemettry's for my collision repair based on recommendation's through my family. I was glad I did. From the very start, I worked with Ajay Boodhoo- a wonderful employee whose communication was top tier. He prepared me for the entirety of the process and walked me through each step seamlessly.

Unfortunately, I had many many days my car was stored in excess on the lot (be cautious about leaving your vehicle if there is no plan with your insurance!) based on waiting on my insurance company. The days of storage unfortunately tacked on extra cost my insurance was unwilling to pay. Through the entire process though, Lemettry's had my back. It was only through their willingness to send me off with a good experience that I was able to take home my full settlement payout through my insurance. I cannot extend enough gratitude to Ajay, the external and service team as well as Lemettry family!! read less

The staff took great care of me from start to finish.

Special shoutout to Stephan Lowell — he kept me updated throughout the whole repair process and made everything so much less stressful. They also handled communication with the other driver’s insurance as soon as I gave them the claim number, which saved me a ton of hassle.

I just moved to this area weeks ago. I was dealing with challenges and felt frustrated until the day I drove to your shop and met Andy. Andy talked to me nicely and started working hard on my car with understanding of my expectation. I was completely shocked and wouldn't believe when he said it was no charge with the help. Who would ever believe such thing would even happen in this busy and business-oriented world!!! I was so touched and grateful, and there were no words would express my graduation towards the kindness and generosity this service offered to me! It was an unforgettable day! I originally had damage on the driver door that needed to be repainted due to paint cracking open. I trusted a local shop to do the work and ended up in a bad spot. Bad work and didn’t own up to it. Mistake on my part to go to that shop. So I came to LaMettry’s and got real professional eyes on it. They re-did all of the work and made my car look great! Even detailed the interior before returning the car to me. I will definitely return to this shop for body work.
